Natalie & Rob’s Wedding

Last Friday we attended my cousin, Natalie’s, wedding down in Portsmouth. Although I had the pleasure of being a guest, I also took the opportunity to try out some wedding photography for the first time.

I’m very pleased with these shots. It certainly helped that the bride, groom and wedding party all looked fantastic. They also chose to hold the reception in a stunning converted barn in a gorgeous setting. And after days of terrible weather, the sun stayed out all day for them!

James these are lovely photos and you should seriously be considering taking this up as a profession!! On a more personal note - I thought the picture of Lynsey and your mum is really nice and its lovely to see you smile Lynsey, it suits you!! The little boy is gorgeous and looks like a Spring (whose side of the family is he from, the groom’s?). I loved the bride’s flowers, wow what a colour!! All in all, really good and different photos, well done!!

Fantastic James! Very professional! I love the one with the uncle making the speach, the expression on the groom’s face is priceless! Amazing colours. Have the happy couple seen them? xx

Amazing quality. I just bought Canon 450d, and am deciding what decent lens to get.
Can you tell me what camera and lens you used ?
    Well done, just mesmerizing.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

@Nat - I’ll be in touch when you get home about sending you a CD.

@Simon - thanks, hope you’re having fun with your new camera. Most of these were taken with my EF24-70mm f/2.8L but five of them (from “The bride has a chat with mum”) were taken with my EF70-200mm f/4L. Both are very nice lenses. I’m currently using the Canon EOS 350D.
